Plantains are a popular west-indian vegetable. Thin and fried to make a chip, you would eat them like any regular chip.

Plantain Chips

Ingredients:

2 plantains
water
salt
Oil for frying

Instructions:

Peel plantains and cut into thin slices with a mandolin. Soak in boiling salted water around 25 minutes.

Fry until crispy (about 10 minutes).

Serve with your favorite dip.
